1. Anyone out there ever lost any U2 items?!
I was recently showing a good friend of mine some U2 concert footage....we ended up watching Red Rocks, but we're working through them all.

After different conversations about different eras, I pulled out my Joshua Tree Deluxe to put on Paris......when lo, and behold the DVD was missing!

It's gone, into the twisted nether of time/space where all the various socks, pens and left-handed shoes (ever see a single shoe on the side of the road....on the side of a hill as the valley explodes....but I digress) that have ever been lost!

So I'm left now, no DVD (unless anyone has one they want to part with).....but here's the kicker, I still have the case. There's an outside chance it's just buried in one of my many, many DVD cases.....

But has anyone else lost anything?

Because as for me (and you knew this was coming.....)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
  2. I bought the limited digipak NLOTH when it came out, and am about 90% convinced someone stole it out of my car. It never left my car, and suddenly one day it was gone.

So I don't technically "own" NLOTH, though its on my iPod and computer and such.
  3. i lost my mysterious way japanese single ...don´t know where it is
  4. I lost the DVD out of the Joshua tree delux re-issue...... no bother I got it again as a Chritmas gift.........
  5. My Bono autograph...
    ...just kidding.

My Vertigo tour program. How, I don't know, since the thing was fairly sizeable for a tour program.
  6. My HTDAAB CD from the deluxe boxset.

    I haven't bothered looking....
  7. shortly after the Vertigo tour, my dad lost my car keys while he was shopping downtown. thankfully it was a small shop (in our small village ) and he was handed them back as he asked in that shop if someone had found a key. but my Vertigo key chain saying "Vertigo//Tour 2009" was gone someone had obvioulsy taken it off before handing the keys over to one of the shop people amazing what people do. I got the same key chain back via ebay later, so I'm fine, but still there is someone out there who has my Vertigo key chain..
  8. I lost the whole of the Joshua Tree Remastered Bonus Deluxe thing, all three discs and the booklet and pictures and stuff
  9. I lost my U2-virginity the day I looked up who played Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Years Day. Sorry to hear about your DVD though man, try ebay?

The best suggestion is, as you already said yourself, to look in all the other dvd/cd-cases you've got. Not only from U2, but also from all other bands.

I once lost a dvd after I played it in the portable dvd player in my car during a holiday in France.
When we returned, we never found the dvd again (don't worry, it wasn't a U2 dvd...can't put my kids through that kinda stuff....

    )

  11. I must have it at home somewhere... Or I leant it to someone and can't find it. Is it worth having, do the Remastered tracks acctually sound that much better?
  12. I lost the case of a Zooropa CD which I still own. It's funny, when you open my Zooropa album case you find TWO copies of the CD itself

If someone lost his/her Zooropa CD I will give it for sure, just ask
