1. I know that! And no I can't. I can only see U2 making music until about 65 and splitting up, I never said any age.

I liked the Elevation tour only because of the song change ever so often. Like Bono playing The Sweetest Thing on piano, acoustic In God's Country, a good version of EBTTRT. They experimented alot on Elevation, something that is needed to do on 360.

Coudn't agree more...they did something similiar during the last leg of Vertigo Tour, changing a lot of songs they were playing before by Kite, One Tree Hill, The Saints Are Coming, Out Of Control, I Will Follow etc...They also changed the encore, what they need to do now

ive been listening to bomb a lot the last week( if u check the lyric game pretty much all of mine have been from Bomb ) id like to hear anything of that album cuz its the album that made me a fan and i love every song on it. They should play this sumwhere in the set....

Love and Peace>>>>> Stand Up Comedy>>>>>> The Fly

That would be quite the trio. I'd love to hear that!

  4. I don't see them making music into their 80s but I also don't see them "breaking up" either. I just think at some point they will all decide it's over, and that will be it. They'll remain friends and they'll even remain as U2... they just won't be making music or performing.

    +1

    Anyway..back on topic...

Who's happy/unhappy with "Bad"'s appearances on this tour? Should there be more? Should it stay completely random and very sporadic like it has been?

I'd say random, but keep it in there sometimes. If it was every night it wouldn't be as cool. I'd love to see it live though, haven't yet

  7. Same here, and they played it Chicago I...I was Chicago II

Haha I'm not really that bummed about it, it'll happen eventually. But I like it's total randomness, to be honest.

By breaking up, I never meant it as something big. I meant it as retiring

I've seen the band (only?) three times and have yet to witness "Bad" and another classic, "I Will Follow." There were two Elevation tour shows I tried to get tickets to (without any luck) and, you guessed it, they played both songs at both of these shows.

I'm hoping they make an appearance in the setlist in T.O. this July 3...time might be running out!

  10. No reason they can't. If they can still play they can keep going if they want. Look at BB King and James Brown until he died - he had a show coming up the next day!!!

Meh, I haven't really been the big fan of 'Bad' but it's a great song to sing along to. I think they should play it occassionally like they are doing right now.

They were/are more of a novelty act back then/now as opposed to an actual musical force taking the world. Plus, BB King doesn't sing high like Bono has to, if you want to listen to Pride 6 steps down and with raspy voice, be my guest
