    Something like...

    10. Unknown Caller (or Breathe)
    11. Bad (or Unforgettable Fire)
    12. Vertigo
    13. Discotheque (or HMTMKMKM or Mofo)
    14. Even Better Than The Real Thing
    15. Sunday Bloody Sunday (or Pride)
    16. Desire (full band - a la Zoo Tour)

That would be soo sik I'd puke everywhere, the good kind. Seriously though wow, a dream come true maybe?

probably most of my views seem quite extreme but thats cos i'm constantly hoping for extreme change which i'm probably never going to get...!

  3. Here's the latest one I came up with:

    01. Get On Your Boots
    02. Magnificent
    03. Mysterious Ways
    04. Beautiful Day/In God's Country (snippet)
    05. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    06. Even Better Than The Real Thing
    07. Last Night On Earth
    08. Stand Up Comedy
    09. Breathe
    10. No Line On The Horizon
    11. Winter (Acoustic)
    12. Pride (In The Name Of Love)
    13. City Of Blinding Lights
    14. Mofo
    15. Vertigo/Stories For Boys (snippet)
    16. I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix)
    17. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    18. Walk On
    19. One
    20. Amazing Grace (snippet)/Where The Streets Have No Name
    21. Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
    22. All I Want Is You (ala PopMart)
    23. Moment Of Surrender

    * I doubt there will be two Pop songs so the likelyhood of both Mofo and LNOE being played is slim. Perhaps the same goes for Winter but I'd love to hear it!

The Zoo TV version of BTBS is absolutely incredible. I repreat.,,incredible. To be honest, however, I dislike the album version - not enough energy. In fact, when I used to listen to studio albums (I only listen to concerts now) I would always skip track 4 on the Joshua Tree.

As long as they didn't force a speech or something in there it'd be alright still but it needs a real rethink as does much of the set.

One Tree Hill, Gloria, I Threw A Brick, In God's Country and Out Of Control would be awesome on that stage. Just not MLK.

    Totally agreed

if they played that setlist i'd be pretty happy (mainly cos of mofo & LNOE)..! personally i think SUC is one of the worst things they've ever written but i'd still be interested to see if it translates any better live. and i'd also like to hear AIWIY is you instead of WOWY but i don't think the popmart version would work so well as it's a bit too truncated - if they were going to play it they should play the full version (ala lovetown). i'd also really like to hear winter as it's one of my favourite songs from NLOTH.

  7. I'm listening to the all day U2 marathon @ http://www.wbwc.com/ and they had an interview with Willie Williams who thinks they won't be opening with Breathe, and hopes/thinks there will be a few more surprises. Interesting.
  8. Shit I just missed that interview
  9. Just listened to Leeds PopMart and watched Mexico City.. We need Last Night On Earth, Mofo and Gone!!

  10. can anyone confirm/validate the memory i have of mofo being heard being soundchecked last year (in new york i think it was?) and then when asked about it either dallas or sam o'sullivan said yes they did soundcheck it but it won't be played til next year?

i think sub-consciously this memory is what's been telling me there is a good chance they will play it!

but on the other hand they soundchecked drowning man more than a few times and that was never played....
