  5. After watching the Milan Dvd i'm firmly in the camp that they really need to get rid of Elevation. The Versions from the Vertigo Tour were so perfect. No reason to play it on this tour in this crappy form when they already achieved the ultimate form of it last tour.

    Not that it should be in there anyways.

    I agree, I am well and truly bored of Elevation now. I think they should rotate their "rockers" of the past 3 albums: Elevation, GOYB and Vertigo... or at least remove one of them (especially now they have Glastonbury).
  7. after Frankfurt yesterday I'm worried about this "greatest hits" tour.

    - only 1 alteration compared to Turin: they swapped North Star for New Years Day.... next thing you know is they reintroduce Pride...
    - Beautiful Day looks to become a permanent setopener....
    - Elevation desperately needs a rest but is here to stay....
    - Mysterious Ways again (without the solo)

    although the people who went report that it was a great concert, I can't help feeling a little disappointed.

    The big question is:
    Why are they leaving out NLOTH, UC and Breathe? Don't they like these songs anymore? Is the guitarsolo in UC to hard for Edge?
    (considering he has difficulty soloing in Mysterious Ways..)

  8. Nah I don't think he has dificulty soloing.

    I think they got rid of breathe because they wanted to change the show opener and couldn't really put it anywhere else on the setlist.

    I think they got rid of Unknown Caller because not many casual fans like or maybe have heard UC, I remember in Sheffield loads of people walkin out for drink/tilet when UC started, I was like its my favourite new song

    Can't really say why they have got rid of NLOTH, it is easy to play and sounds good, maybe they will bring it back because this is the NLOTH tour really.

    Nice to see New Year's Day come back but youre right it is turning into a greatest hits tour which is a shame.

    I think its funny at the start of Streets in Turin he says "kiss the future, F*ck the past" when he's singing a song which is 23 years old but oh well .

    The setlists have been disapointing but the shows and performances have been great
  9. Yeah they need to do some more rotation that's all. They don't necessarily have to re-structure the setlist just rotate a few songs to keep it fresh.
