1. I really wish they would just debut Every Breaking Wave, North Star, and the song they wrote for Glastonbury. Or even just one of those...maybe debuting three new songs live is just too much to hope for.

I totally agree...you know,it's kinda odd, cause we're talking about songs that (most of them) have only 10 or less years old since they were released (obviously not mentioning Sunday,WOWY,etc)...which,at least to me,it isn't that OLD...still, the fact that they've overplayed these songs for the last 10 years (Elevation,BD) or songs have lost their "spell" (WALK ON,LITTLE WHILE,COBL) may be the reason why they sound so dried up to us,i suppose...

Even CRAZY TONITE! which only was played since last year,at least to my ears,it already sounds overplayed and lacking something....maybe is just me...

NO i feel the same way, but i guess I understand it : is difficult to play differten songs every night. I liked Crazy the first couple of shows i really thought is is a very cool thing, but now its just getting a bit bored.

They should rotate more, then there will be know problem, switch Crazy for Discotheque some nights. Play UC instead of IALW all time ( I never liked IALW), UF>COBL. Bad or Pride > SBS. and just suprise us with some other changes

  8. All I Want is You deserves a comeback.
  9. I believe that Bono's current form could result in a killer performance of Bad.
  10. "If God Will Send His Angels", "Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own", and "Drowning Man", a previously unplayed song from War, were rehearsed before the start of the tour, as was "Even Better Than the Real Thing" in the Perfecto mix style,[71] while The Edge stated in an interview with Rolling Stone that "Luminous Times (Hold on to Love)" was also being considered.[72] None of these were played during the first two legs of the tour. Willie Williams stated in his 27 June 2009 tour diary entry on U2.com that the band "really wants [Drowning Man] to work and it sounds great", but the rest of the setlist struggled due to the song's "beautiful melancholy".[73] In his 24 July 2009 entry, Williams noted that "October" and "White as Snow" were also being considered.[74] "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Mysterious Ways" were rehearsed in an acoustic style,[71] but performances during the tour were done by the full band.

I just found this text on Wikipedia and i was wondering is this true ? I knew about Drowning man, but of the other songs i never heard that they were rehearsed. I know its old but maybe we could see any of this happen, that would be very cool imo

Yep, IGWSHA, SYCMIOYO and Drowning Man were rehearsed. So was EBTTRT in Perfecto Mix. Drowning Man was probably the closest of all of them to being played. It was rehearsed alot. I believe White as Snow was going to be played in Dublin 3 but they decided not to. And yes, it is true that Mysterious Ways was rehearsed acoustically, it's on Youtube. Sunday Bloody Sunday, I don't know about that but it probably was.

I think its a real shame they didnt try EBTTRT and SYCMIOYO. ANd i would also love to hear SBS acoustic again, or White as Snow. Maybe they will try something in the coming shows
