  1. They should, if they don't what the hell is the music industry coming to.
    HTDAAB won and it received far less critical acclaim than NLOTH, which a few music magazines album of the year (including Rolling Stone)

    To me it is absolutely mind-boggling to think that a tween pop princess like Taylor Swift is nominated for album of the year, and NLOTH is not even nominated despite being music on an entirely different level (ie. actual art rather than manufactured pop ).

    Maybe it's just due to how many Grammy's U2 have already received.

  4. LOL wow Green Day is fucking lame. I'm pissed off they beat U2. I mean, I had a feeling U2 wouldn't have won, they haven't even showed Bono and Edge (doubt they're there), they didn't perform, there's been NO hype about NLOTH, but GREEN DAY? C'mon.....and can somebody tell me wtf is wrong with the music industry? 70% of the performers have sucked ass? Horrible

  10. Good question. I had to hold back laughter throughout that performance. I told my mom I'm just going to try and find old Grammy award shows from the 80's and stuff, that way I might actually enjoy watching them lmao.

    Maybe that's why they paired her with Stevie Nicks, so that viewers could distract themselves from the pain...

    I'm at a loss. I actually really enjoyed Lady Gaga and Elton John opening the show though. IMO, the Grammy's have gotten their opening dead-on for two years in a row now
