1. No classics, unfortunately. Maybe 'Crazy' will be talked about as the creative nadir of the latter stage of their career.
  2. Due to lack of hits you could say none, but the band will (hopefully) choose Moment of Surrender (no doubt), Breathe, Unknown Caller
  3. I would generally think MoS is the most likely, but if you base it on public opinion - "name a U2 hit" sort of question then none of them, because no song from the album has even vaguely registered with the general public.

In terms of live classics; NLOTH, Breathe, MoS, Boots, Unknown Caller and Magnificent all have potential. (In vaguely that order IMO).

Personally, Breathe and MoS with NLOTH and Being Born just behind.
  4. Crazy really could have been a hit. It's in the same spirit of Beautiful Day. What a shame they couldnt work it out, the album version is really good namely.
  5. In 20 years time, when I discuss this album, the first song I'll think of is Unknown Caller.

  6. And likewise it'll be Breathe for me. One person's Streets is another's Babyface.

NLOTH is more like an Unforgettable Fire than a Joshua Tree for me; it's not full of potential classics, but songs that seem to sneak up on you and just sort of weave their way into your favorites...for me, at least.
  7. The title track. That's it.

    Im gonna go for:

    Unknown Caller
    Breathe
    No Line on the Horizon
    Moment of Surrender
    Magnificent

MOS only, perhaps UC as a sort of Bad and Breathe as rocker.
Hoping for NLOTH and MOS though, with UC at their side.

But even The Unforgettable Fire had Pride. Other than that I do understand what you mean. Perhaps we'll get a Joshua Tree after No Line then?
