Yer it was filmed on the film set Stay ( faraway So close ) was made ,,if you put on the commantary on the 90-2000 dvd it tells ya all you need to know .The lead actor is sat on the bus at the start with U2 as well.The film is good ( all in german ) but the 1st film Disire is better,,about an angle falling in love with a circus girl,as in Stay an angle wants to know how it is to feel human,,,,Hollywood killed it with there version with meg ryan and nic cage ( city of angles).
  2. Wings of Desire (Der Himmel Über Berlin) and Faraway, So Close! (In weiter fern, So Nah!) is two of my favorite movies so I really recomend them :3
    The U2 song is played in a bar in the second movie and if people like Nick Cave... his songs are played in both the first and second movie and in the first move he has a small role

    And the video, those shots that's done from far away is actually scenes from the movie with the actor (or stand in) but the close-ops with Bono and the band is obviously on a fake-statue.
