    But, my personal choice is Rossi. He's won multiple championships and is considered as the best in motorcycle racing.

    I think i might go for Stoner, i spent the whole season following vettel and he sounds fairly similar in your decription.

    Yeah, I'm a huge F1 fan. I've been a fan longer than I've been a U2 fan. What I like about F1 so much is how it is so competitive. I love it when the races are packed full of action and incidents. It can occasionally be boring which is frustrating (especially if you get up at 6 in the morning to watch the race). I've never attended a race, unfortunately. I don't know if I would ever be able to stand a race. I've watched over 100 races live on TV and it's really good that way. Because you can see everything that's happening live. If you are there at the track, then you don't see everything that happens. All you see is cars pass ever so often.




    thought i would bring this across from the fan of the month thread. Seeing a race live is a totally different expericance but totally worth it and surprisingly good value for money in terms of ticket cost. Went to the Hungarian GP this year and it was probably the best event (both Music and 100+ rugby games) i've been to. Sat at the start of the pit straight (around the 3rd and 4th grid spots) and had a great view of the start, finish, drivers parade and podium as well as the pits and other varous incidents. pratice was also interesting even if it was just see the car come round and saying "look, theres Webber" or something like that, though i watch the practice sessions at home anyway so it could be just me. Can't forget the support races and the massive and very exspensive crash involving 4 Porsche 911s. Ok the result didn't Vettels way, leading half the race but finishing 3rd, but still got to see him on the podium.

    So yeah, get yourself down to race some time, totally worth the money and an expericance you won't regret

    Oh, nice! How much is a ticket for a grand prix? If you don't mind me asking.

    If you sat that the pit straight, you would have seen Schumacher and Barrichello's near massive incident. What was the reaction like when that happened? And also, what about the Kubica and Sutil pit lane incident? I remember that race very well. Especially when Vettel went nuts at his penalty which he thought he never deserved but he actually did.

    I've had a life-long ambition to go to every grand prix, but that'll take some time & money. I think if I'll be going to a grand prix in the next couple of years, it will be at Silverstone.

    yeah i left some links in the text, though not very visable, saw both. The pit lane was abit strange because we saw the mechanics crowding round and pulling the cars apart but not the actual incident (because i was looking the other way ) but it was repeat on the big screen in front of us, which is the same live feed as the tv.though it wasn't until we got back to the hotel that we stopped blaming roseberg for it and wasn't even connected to that incident.

    We saw Barrichello get into schumachers slip and move along side, then Schumacher moving across, but as they moved to the dirty side of the track it was just generally a cloud of dust near to the wall. saw it on the screen seconds later and everyone knew it was bad, even the large number of Schumacher fans.
    Tickets were £180 for pit straingt but uncovered so its around £60 a day (+ sun cream) but given the other formulas racing (i think about 4 there) its good value. Free transport from Budapest to the track aswell. We're thinking about trying Spa, Monza or Valencia next year, though if Monaco was actually in the summer break i would want to go to that, just to say i've been more than anything.

    Spa, Monza or Valencia are really good choices. Valencia would be great! I love that circuit, I mastered that circuit on the F1 2010 video game Spa is always full of action and excitement. It would be best to get a place after Eau Rouge at the straight. Monza would probably be the best of all circuits though. Italian fans, Ferrari, the atmosphere... it's all there. If a Ferrari driver wins at Monza, expect a riot

    sadly i'm stuck with the 06 F1 game, still second generation for me , I inteed to work my way around europe, maybe even to canada, USA or Asia, each with their own experiance. Maybe some new ones will be added, Bulgaria and Russia are being talked about, maybe as i'm learning Polish i will get to see Kubica will get the chance to race at home, though probably not in the near future. The great thing about the sport is that things just keep changing, many changes for the good, and hopefully that will great better opportunities for the fans.

    I really liked the 06 game. Of course, that's in the past now. F1 2010 is so much harder because it's easy to spin because of no TC or ABS or anything of that.

    I'd really like to go to Singapore or Abu Dhabi. I've kind of been planning things to do during the time I have between leaving school in 2012 in June and going to university in September. Maybe Singapore could be on the cards but it would be mighty expensive.
