  5. I'd offer feedback but I don't have the original to hand so I've nothing to compare.

    What kit are you using?
  6. there a recording on here for it! Im using a cd I bought in Dublin a few weeks after the gig

Jus been using Audacity thats all.

  7. Sounds good. What did you change?.

  8. Thanks really glad to hear someone who is a master at remastering say it sounds good ,
I gave the bass a bit of a boost, and played around with the Equalisation thats it really!!
Tis not the best original recording either.

That's not real remastering, that's just EQ-ing it all a bit. Have been doing that in the past too, but I soon realised I'm not skilled enough to proper remaster music so I stopped doing it. Ask Noiseless, our member here, if you wanna know how proper remastering works.

suppose your right its not proper remastering, but if it sounds better after doing it so what?I see your point though thats why I was askin for help to see wether or not I was going in the right direction !!
  11. MWSAH is right. I do this EQ-ing for my mp3-player (have no EQ). You also need to remove glitches, noise, clicks, normalizing Volume etc. I'm using different Tools for remastering now (and there are still a few bugs, i'm no expert) . Audacity is very limited in the functions. Like MWSAH said, ask noiseless, he is the master of remaster.
  12. Thanks for the help guys much appriciated
