  2. Gotta love that you put "Don't encode to lossy formats" twice in your info file.
  3. Think that was from the source he used. Which i dont get because i have the same source without those lines..

Probably the uploader then put it in the info file.

Anyway the lossless version of this remaster is coming up as we speak

No worries, I don't care about lossless/lossy on the net anymore. Just loved the connection of the "warning" and the mp3 upload from the same person.

btw: Checking the lineage, is this a remaster of a remaster?

  7. Yes, check the bootleg page for samples. Think you'll agree this one is much better though. Less hiss, more low freq. Maybe a bit loss of clarity in some sections, but something has to give

About the lossy / lossless stuff.... I dont take part in it (anymore) if it says lossless only I just upload the lossy. Why care about 1 of 2000 bootlegs? Nobody who notices one less boot in lossy.

On another note: I would switch to lossless files DIRECTLY if they were properly tagged and named though. I am not going to have all files twice to seed and to play.
  8. Next time I'd suggest to work with the untouched files then. But to each their own.

  9. Or directly from the soundboard VHS tape, or why not directly the original Betamax (or whatever) tape

I get your point though How shorter the lineage the less detail is lost.

In the end its about how it sounds, it sounds good
