    Amazon.com's price for not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and shipped. Whenever you pre-order a book, CD, video, DVD, software, or video game, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered by Amazon.com between the time you placed your order and the end of the day of the release date. A pre-order price guarantee message will appear on your Order Summary during the checkout process. If you use 1-Click ordering, pre-order price protection will be automatically applied. The order summary in Your Account will reflect the lowest price within 24 hours of the price change.

    Suckers. Amazon.com does not have this restriction, so price guaranty in US is indeed a price guaranty, price guaranty in Germany means shit.

  6. Amazon will be covered by U2.com on this one. U2.com said that the actual product has changed, so what you pre-ordered would be different to what you would receive. So easier to cancel and ask yo to re-order. Very very sly

    Not in this case. Details on amazon are the same as on U2.com.
    It's rather the paragraph noiseless mentioned.
    They realised that the price was too low and fixed it. Never experienced that before on amazon. Let's see if the other sites deliver where I ordered the super deluxe for 31 and 56. Doubt it...

  9. I believe most sites do take their loss. I pre-ordered the JT superdeblabla box set before it came out very cheap at CD Wow and they sent it without a blink of their eyes.

    Amazon would have a tough one on this. But only in Germany it was priced too low and there in fact they just don't have price guaranty.

    Amazon US would probably send it to you, but as they have real price guaranty, they were careful.
