Anyway . . .. . if you can access Twitter, you can access U2start, can't you? We have a dedicated mobile site: http://m.u2start.com/

how do I post to u2start's twitter page? I thought only the account owner of the twitter account could post to that account's feed? Maybe I'm confused.

I want to send text messages from my phone that will post to U2start's twitter feed ... hmmm ... let me investigate that.
  2. @ratcub

I'm assuming you mean for the mobile site, there isn't a dedicated app but just save the homepage as an icon on your homescreen and it's basically the same thing

And SUCCESS! For my live updates from Rice Eccles Stadium, just follow u2start on Twitter. I'll post text there real-time, and then post videos and pictures here on the site as I can.
  4. The Claw structure has arrived in the parking lot (on trucks).

  5. Pasadena was nothing but bleacher seats.

Yes, those are bleachers. Utah doesn't have a professional sports team (that plays in an outdoor arena/stadium) so U2 had to use this smaller university venue.

No love for Real Salt Lake?!

  6. first it was red, i mean yellow lights....
now i swear you ran a stop sign? (1:26) LOL

Thanks for the vid Greg! (mind if I post it and others on other sites)

    cheers

  7. looking forward to your next video! made me smile when you acknowledged my comment about the holes at that particular end of the stadium

do you think those holes/doorways will probably be the best place to record when they start practicing/soundchecking? looked quite promising to me compared to say, barcelona where there was thousands of metres of one of the worlds biggest stadiums to block the sound! as long as they dont block them off somehow i reckon you should be able to get one of the clearest soundcheck recordings ever!

by this time next week they should be about ready to start practicing (mofo.... )

I think the best place to get a sound check will be in the stadium ... I have prepared a way in ... unless somebody thwarts my plan.

i have faith in your plan remaining un-thwarted as you appear to be what in this country some people might call 'a top blagger'

remember that when you're sitting on your own in the stadium listening to mofo having just blagged your way past security - sit back and smile to yourself and think "yes. i am a top blagger"

and on that note i bid you goodnight...
  11. I don't remember the exact time of installation for The Claw, last year. But do you think it's possible that the finish the job for the next week, begin the rehearsal of leg 3 next weekend ?
