1. Guys I'm so nervous for tomorrow...really can't sleep since the semi finale against Uruguay I'll go CRAZY if we win the world cup, prolly be drunk for at least a month. Took off monday to go to Schiphol and see the team arrive and ofcourse tuesday to be in Amsterdam for the boat trip and homage...oh my god, please let us win!!!
  2. You know the team wont be arriving at a public gate? They will pass customs and leave the airport behind the scenes

I know but am pretty sure that when we win, plenty of fans will come to the airport anyway so maybe the team will show themselfs...I'm free anyway and Schiphol is not far away
  7. Too bad I miss the fun in Amsterdam if they become World Champion. Going to Spain 8 hours after the game.
  8. AAARGH still 18 hours to go!

  9. He's like 007....

I will say that Diego Forlan has been truly impressive in every game I've seen him in this tournament. What a player.
  10. too hot here ... and too excited ....
    16 hours to go ......

gonna dream of a golden cup now ...

  11. I was so hoping Klose would show up today and score some more goals. It was probably his last chance to be the biggest scorer ever.
Anyway, Germany played well, and so did Uruguay. One of the best games of the cup.

Yea, if they had Klose, Lahm and Neur on the field, they would have had a better showing.

And it's pretty clear that if Muller had been playing in the semifinal the match could have been quite different, yet again he scored the first goal for Germany.

This young German side will be something to watch for in 2014.

And i'm sorry for all the Dutch fans, even the octupus is picking Spain to win, but who knows?
