1. the guy who posted it says he thinks he has the whole show and to 'watch this space' but that was 10 months ago unfortunately...

personally this is the most important show of all time for me as it was my first ever gig.. blew my mind and changed my life and this is the first time i've ever seen a reasonable video of it (i remember seeing a barely watchable video of mofo a few years ago) but if this guy could upload every song it could be synced with the bootleg. in fact i might have a go at syncing it with the bootleg myself!

i do actually remember seeing someone on one of the spotlight towers filming the whole gig on a tripod but thats never seen the light of day unfortunately..

  2. Just watched that. Would love the whole show. Shall we all contact him???

The best show I've ever seen by anybody ever. They were on a different planet that night and this is U2 history....
  3. The DVD is heavily circulating. No need to work with pixellated youtube crap.

  4. really?!? can someone upload it on here please!?

i've wanted this show on video since i walked out of roundhay park 13 years ago!!
  5. If you have a torrent client, you can request it on U2torrents.
Or it could be seeded on the beta tracker here. ~4 gigs, it shares a disc with JT Edinburgh
  6. i have the show on video and i am pretty sure its not the complete show
  7. humm, that video seems to be pretty good quality, even on Youtube... Maybe, maybe........ Audience video + Soundboard audio anyone??
  8. is the full length bootleg synced with the radio broadcast?

if all the tracks on the video were separate i could sync each up with the radio broadcast and upload them to youtube. just need to get my hands on the videos... dont think i've got a good enough program to separate it if it was all one long track though...

i'd make a whole new youtube channel dedicated to popmart Leeds!

the DVD isn't complete and not synced with the broadcast audio
  10. well i've just signed up to U2torrents specifically to request the video but i don't have sufficient priviledges...

so if anyone else is a member and is deemed worthy to request torrents could you request it for me please? or if anyone knows of any other way to acquire it let me know! i'd definitely be willing to sync every available video track up with the broadcast for a youtube channel and any missing video tracks i could maybe make a photo montage for those songs out of my large collection of popmart leeds professional prints..

got a lot of time on my hands at the moment and could do with a bit of a project to keep me occupied!

the popmart leeds youtube channel! got a nice ring to it!

Not really. 2nd gen VHS, uncomfortable angle, shaky shots with heads and hands in the way.

ric, I don't really see the point to resynch the video with a new audio source just to bastardize it and put it up on youtube.
But if you wanna give it a go, I could extract the Leeds part, re-encode the DVD, and upload it. Not before next week, though. Or, if you only wanna put it on youtube,, I can do an avi conversion and upload that one tomorrow.
