Heard some reports that the clothing brand of Bono and Ali isn't going to well. Website is down for days now. Pity, they have some good quality stuff, pricewise it's a bit higher, but off course that's due to the fair trade. Hard to compete with clothes made in China I guess.
My parents gave me a Edun shirt for my birthday some years ago and I completely love it...... I hope it survives. If I had the money I would buy a lot of clothes, the designs are (were?) great and I love the whole fair production + fair trade concept behind it. Hands down to Edun and to Ali and Bono of course
Outside of U2 fans I'm not sure how well known the store is. Unlike fair trade chocolate or something which is more expensive but has massive exposure as it's featured in most supermarkets and shops.
I only found out about Edun when I was looking at some of the things Bono has been involved in such as DATA, One and (RED).
