1. Hope you can do something with it and that it wont be a waste of your time!
  2. I'll get around to this one soon but it says VHS-TV; I didn't think the Adelaide show was on TV, at least nobody from around here remembers it.
  3. where's the point in blowing the files up to flacs when your source is lossy?
  4. Encoding twice to mp3 brings twice the losses

    That's the info I have. Don't know if it is correct.

    @Chris

    correct.

    I don't have any time today to upload the Remaster. I'll do it next week. I go to my brother today (with lots of beer to watch soccer).

  6. why twice? The source files are mp3 as far as I understood the opening post.

    Edit: Forgot that I don't care about all this.

    Audio processing doesnt work on MP3 level but on raw PCM data. So if he'd chose to upload as mp3 it will be like this (because mp3 encoding is lossy regardless the lossyness of the input)

    original lossless ---> mp3 ---> wav (raw PCM) ---> Processing ---> mp3 (twice mp3 in lineage, twice the losses)

    But when uploading as flac:

    original lossless ---> mp3 ---> wav (raw PCM) ---> Processing ---> FLAC (only 1 mp3 in lineage)

    So U2Freak999's choice is understandable.
  8. Edit: nevermind.

    Just piss in the pools.
  9. you sure do like to clutter the recording scene. That's 2 different versions of yours circulating now
  10. Will check it out friday. Massivly busy with exams
