  5. Just picked up two new effects for the board:

    -Digitech Bad Monkey Overdrive (this thing is saintly, I can't believe I lived without it. Perfect crunch of an OD pedal)

    -ElectroHarmonix Small Clone Chorus (Simple as it gets- one knob, heavenly chorus)
  6. Just added a Line 6 Spider II 120 (with Celestain speakers) to my rig. Many people don't like these... I think it's pretty sweet.


  7. I was wondering about the Line6 M13, i have a Vox Tonelab LE.
    Should I consider giving it up for one of those?

  8. Recently replaced with a black Gretsch G5122

    Some time during the next months I might replace the stock humbuckers with filtertrons and the adjustomatic with a rocking bar.

    I just started learning last december, so too early to call it playing
  10. my only gear is my classical (like acoustic) guitar.
    7 years learning, once fist place national contest in category of group, i was in a trio, i was about 15 years old.
    now i´m 35 and for lack of time don´t play often, but back my teen age years my teacher always sayd, the guitar is your girlfriend, play every day at least two hours.

    Go for the TV Jones "Classics". They are more like the original Filtertrons found in vintage Gretsch guitars.

    The TV Jones are more true to the original sound than the present Gretsch Filtertrons.

    You won't be sorry.

    Just take the time to play and learn. Play with others as much as possible. Look up chords and tablature to your favorites songs and start trying to work your way through them.

    That method has helped me a lot.

    I am no perfect guitarist. But I am better today than yesterday... where I was better than the month before. It's all about progress.
