I¡ve googled it and it doesn't look too oficial, but it doesn't look fake either. To my eyes, it might be something legal but not Universal/U2 attached.

I've had this box since the early 90s. It was produced in 1991 when the singles were rereleased on CD. It was the easiest way to get all of those singles before the internet, eBay, etc.

Yep. Not 'official' packaging. But the discs seem to be.
I think I paid around $100 for it brand new in 1991, so I think you got a good price. I saw a lot of the singles at Amoeba Music in Hollywood last month, and they were going for $15-$16 dollars each.
It is official. Think it was manufactured in Germany. If you look on ebay and see how much the early CD singles are going for, think you got a good deal.
