  1. Hello U2 fans,

    I just bought a 12 CD singles collection box but i doubt if it's an official U2-item. The only link i can find on the internet is this one: http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=382067

    Does anyone of you know something more about this item? I bought it for 85 euro's so if it's a fake-item it's not that painfull.

  2. You should can check U2 Wanderer or similar pages for this kind of doubts

    I¡ve googled it and it doesn't look too oficial, but it doesn't look fake either. To my eyes, it might be something legal but not Universal/U2 attached.

  4. Who cares? It's a nice box, it's limited and personally numbered, and the singles are there. So what? Enjoy it
  5. I've had this box since the early 90s. It was produced in 1991 when the singles were rereleased on CD. It was the easiest way to get all of those singles before the internet, eBay, etc.

    Fake box. Real singles.

    Yep. Not 'official' packaging. But the discs seem to be.

    But of unofficial stuff, it's kinda cool.
  7. Thanks. It seems like a nice box indeed. And the singles look real. I can pick it up this sunday. I think i didn't paid too much for it.
  8. I think I paid around $100 for it brand new in 1991, so I think you got a good price. I saw a lot of the singles at Amoeba Music in Hollywood last month, and they were going for $15-$16 dollars each.
  9. Hey I picked this box set up in 1998 and at the time I paid $300 U.S For it.

    Great Box! Never regretted buying it for a second!

  10. I bought this box set from hmv in the early 90's when it was released.i'm sure it was official!
  11. It is official. Think it was manufactured in Germany. If you look on ebay and see how much the early CD singles are going for, think you got a good deal.
  12. I have it listed in a discography as an official release too.
