What I dont understand is,they havent played North Star now for 3 straight gigs.Thats a good NEW song.You would think they would keep that song in there for sure.The band said before the tour,they had alot of NEW material.That got me pumped up.But,for now, they have dropped North Star.I know its only 4 shows in,but still.

  4. I too am not pleased with the way the band deal with thier setlists, but how did the show sound?? Up till now i've been able to listen to the last shows but with school starting up for us teachers... its back to work I go...

    I do wish they would do away with whatever hinders them from mixing up the setlist and playing different songs. They have so many Great ones...


  5. I have the same opinion. Listen to it (from Torino recording) you can cleary realize that the song need to be worked. It doesn't have a finish, and I think they want to improve the way they play it.

    I followed yesterday's setlist again through my mom's iPhone, although i couldn't join the setlist "party" (:?) here... It's obvious that tonight there will be a strong shake up of the setlist, or maybe just 3 or 4 songs rotated/changed (a la Barcelona 2 last year). They simply can't play the same/very similar setlist, not only for the fans, but because of the pedestrians and casual listeners! They don't want to witness the same Free concert again!

    Since Helsinki thread is not yet open I'll post here that Yle (Finnish national public broadcasting) celebrated forthcoming two gigs by showing the hour-long Pasadena special and Rattle and Hum in a row on Saturday night.

    Four nights to go until starting my car for a drive to a long weekend in Helsinki. Awaiting the set list of tonight to see if there's going to be any changes on consecutive nights or not.

    Edit: Also, "My Sweet Lord" better return in Mysterious Ways. Completes the song.
