Just reading a local Sunday paper and a story of interest surface. Apparently mister Cowell has a big budget for the next series and he is wanting a U2 themed week in which all the sheep (contestants) sing U2 songs. He wants Bono to be their mentor for the day aswell as having U2 on for a performance on the live show. Hmm

Love the X Factor so I'll watch it anyway I'd love it to happen, but it will just give people more reasons to moan about U2 I guess

X Factor is a piece of crap. All it will be is people on the show ruining U2's songs.

X-Factor is rubbish and nobody good ever comes from it, after a couple of years, you never see the winner ever again....

Not that much of a surprise bearing in mind how many times he's got people to sing U2 songs - I feel the need to point out I only know that 'cause I get friends who are into it saying "oooh X sang a U2 song" and I then check it on YouTube and think it ain't up to much lol. I cannot stand the programme lol.

oh christ, no.

this is an awful, horrendous idea. not least because the X factor is shite.

it'll just give all the U2 (specifically Bono) haters more fuel to add to their already pretty fucking huge fire.

You'd be surprised, I saw someone young sing Beautiful Day on American Idol and it was awful
