  7. Crazy Tonight was pretty funny So weird hearing them play the chorus without the backing track

    North Star is much better, Edge just using simple clean and delay could use a bit of bass to fill it up and drums to finish it off

  9. North Star does sound better this way.. It's a fine song and although I can think others that I would prefer to hear (Wake up dead man, Stay, Stuck in a moment), it's nice they play something new..
  10. Wow, North Star sounded great tonight. Can't wait to hear a finished version of it- it's going to be stellar. Could very easily see this song being very popular.

    :edit: I really like tonight's show- it has a lot of character. Nice speech before Still Haven't Found, nice mixup/snip in Crazy Tonight, bridge in UTEOTW, a great new version of North Star, and of course UV...think I'll download this one when (assuming it does) it surfaces.

    And wow...Bono still sounds amaaaaazing on Miss Sarajevo. Glad they're playing it...hope they keep it in the US, but given that it was more popular in Europe than here, who knows.

    Did they get a new lead-in on COBL? It sounds a little bit different than normal...I like it.

    And Bono messed up the intro of UV...and had the crowd clapping at the wrong time during ISHFWILF...

    PS- Was Bono on drugs at the end of MOS? Lol.
  11. North Star gave me chills. I can't wait for the next performance. Also, it was very cool to see Adam applauding them afterwords. That might sound stupid, but it's nice to see little things like that. When my band played a couple months ago, my friend Rob had a piano solo (a full symphony.) Our audience applauded him, but when he saw myself and my friend Josh applauding as we came back on stage, his face lit up. I didn't realize that having your mates behind you like that would make such a difference. So seeing Adam simply clapping like that is really cool for me.

    Agree. Love to see those small band moments and interactions.
