    HE is right. Only Americans can split their code for different shows. Europeans and Aussies can't - all tickets should be purcahsed for the same show, and if you don't buy the 4 tix you're allowed to, the remaining ones get lost.

    I ended up joining U2.com, so i'll be able to get 4 tix on Monday, also signed up for Live Nation last week, and will get the other 4 tix on the Wednesday.

    LiveNation is free isn't it? So those who registered like a week or two ago, should get first crack at tickets? Either that, or anyone who has a spare one (GA) after the fact, keep it handy...

    This Wednesday for general sale...I'm literally shitting myself. Well not really but freakin' out - is it gonna happen? Am I gonna get them???

    Yeah it's free, you just have to register, and tickets available on Wednesday, 2 days before they go on sale for the general public.

    Right, sorry about that.

    I received two codes and was able to buy 4 tix each for two shows.

  8. 2 codes for one account, anyone who was a member before 22nd of August can get a second code if they renew for 12 more months, you get the U2Duals Cd as well.

    sweet, ill do that then. just wondering how this friday the general public get a crack at the tickets, just say its like 80% sold by 11am and they announce a 2nd show for melbourne. will the 2nd show go onsale straight away or will it go onsale a few days after so u2com members get a crack at them 1st again?
  10. If tickets last as long as they did for Vertigo, to buy tix in Melboune you have 1 hour max - more like 20 to 30 mins. As for additional shows, for the Aussie Vertgo leg I believe they just released them, however for the 360 tour all the additional shows have slowly been released giving presales a chance.

    A few days after, the presale has to take place (and it will do probably the following day).

    Something like:
    Monday general sale > sold out > second show announced that same day > presale on Tuesday/Wednesday > General sale on Friday

    Is that how I ended up with 2 codes??? I was completely mystified when I went to look before the presale. But it worked out great; I got what I needed for Brisbane and Melbourne. Easiest presale ever.
