1. I'll be there so I'll review it when the time comes.
  2. Sorry to those who may be offended, but Jay-Z is a terrible choice, not looking forward to that. Would be more interesting to have nothing compared to that!
  3. I'm not overally fussed about the support act anyway, they are just a stop fill until the REAL show starts...

We lined up for 33 hours last time for the first Vertigo gig, about 8 of us taking turns in lining up & getting away with some sleep [so far maybe 4 or 5 in our group this time around], first in line getting front row.

I'm not sure how the 360 Tour system works, but will try & do the same, to get as close as possible, at least for the first night, after that, just walking in whenever for a different possie, if anyone wants to form a group....

Jay-Z is much better than Kanye West. He's probably the reason why I wasn't allowed to go!

I'm hoping - I did more hours this week for that very reason to do an extra show if there is one more. It wouldn't hurt to do two.

    Anyone wanna meet up though?

Not allowed to go 'cos of Jay-Z? He's the reason rap died - though it already was in its coffin half-nailed before he was even around.

Remember the Aerosmith / Run DMC collaboration from the 80s? That's the reason rap and rock don't mix.

  9. Presale information for U2's shows in Australia and New Zealand

The presale takes place this week, in less than two days. It will occur in two distinct phases. All times in the following information are local to the venue.

For all existing fanclub members, the the presale begins on Thursday, 26 August at 11am and runs until noon on Monday, 30 August. Yes, that is for all four old subscriber groups: Horizon, Breathe, Magnificent, Boots.

For new fanclub members, there will be a separate presale after the presale for existing members. New members will be allocated to a fifth subscriber group, named Cedar. The Cedar presale begins on Monday, 30 August at 1pm and runs until midday on Wednesday, 1 September.

U2.com have updated their presales FAQ to be relevant for the upcoming presales. It confirms that you can use your presale code to buy 1-4 tickets for ONE concert only, the same as the European presales earlier on the tour.
  10. If we're not members of U2.com is it confirmed Livenation are doing a presale?

  11. Jay-Z did some great rock mix stuff. Wouldn't be surprised to see some duets for Hearts of the city and SBS.

  12. I'm with you on this one, better than many, many, many other artists that could be options.

Aussie's will get to hear that super-damn-catchy "Empire State of Mind", and my all-time favorite rap song "99 Problems" (think its genius in terms of rap/hip-hop)...that is, if Jay plays his cards the right way.
