  5. Hi from one Austrian U2 fan to another


    I just returned from an extended concert trip, saw U2 in Germany, had a fab time and took some time off after the shows for travelling around. I simply cannot catch up with everything going on in U2 world right now, I just saw the amazing Helsinki II set and listened to all the new songs and I just HOPE they'll keep some of that stuff for the Vienna show which will be my next concert. I'm so so so looking forward to the boys finally returning to my city and I really love the tour.

  7. Preparations for the concert are already taking place here in Vienna. Construction of the claw is said to begin today, though it's rainy here today. I have no idea when the band will arrive, but I'll go and check out the stadium on Thursday, since it's only 10 min from where I work. I might take some pictures of the Claw, if there is already anything to see. We may go and check out the stadium for rehearsals on Sunday. I hope U2 will spend some days in my city like they do in Moscow right now, there's a lot to see and they haven't been here for quite a while.

  9. That Cathal (sp?) guy managed it in Horsens didn't he? Only at the end for WOWY and MoS though.
  10. Yes, security staff uses to relax once the show has started; they use to allow some few people to get into the stadium/arena/whatever... I don't know if leaking into the stadium before the show would be that easy though.

    My Mam got into Croke Park 26-07-87 for free Growing up near there, she knew al the ways in You can actually hear her on I Will Follow And then the funny thing is you can hear her during The Auld Triangle from Dublin 1 last year
