1. I've been trying to make a multicam for Las Vegas mainly for myself because I was at the show, but given the setlist is exactly the same as the rose bowl dvd which is 1000 times better quality I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in it. Then i've seen there are some multicam previews for European shows appearing lately so would anyone be interested in a complete Las Vegas multicam. Here is a preview of what I have done so far

If I have use anyone's footage and they would like me to remove it just let me know, and any feedback would be greatly appreciated, especially the 'Let me in the sound' part, I've watched it too many times and don't know if I like it or not now.
  2. What are you saying?!?!? The LET ME IN THE SOUND part is simply awesome!!!!!!! (I'm talking about the middle eight, not the intro of the sing... right?) You made a great edit there, mate The rest of it looks pretty good, it doesn't look too "proffessional" but that's a good thing in my opinion, multicams are audience shots and whatever the editing, they must remain like that: audience shots. I don't want 50 shots per minute or mind-blowing transitions. Just give me 4 or 5 steady cams, switch them every now and then and sync them with a nice audio source: and there you got it.

PS. The "helicopter-like" camera is absolutely breathtaking. It looks insanely high!!
  3. Great work ,,would love a copy when its done and if you havent got the first leg dvd most off us got last year ill burn you a copy if you like ....i Iike these fan made gigs as i have the rose bowl dvd and yer its got great sound ,clear crisp picture but i think somethings lost and for me i play my first leg dvd more than the rose bowl as the sheffield gig for me was the best so far ( the 360 gig i went to ) but anyone who seen them this tour will tell you theres was the best gig and rightly so....good luck with the rest off it and i hope to have a copy when done for a euro 1.
  4. Thanks guys, I was starting to doubt myself because I'm stuck at vertigo and have been for a few days. I was talking about the middle eight 'let me in the sound' part, whilst I do like it, I put the words over Unknown Caller as well, trying to go for a lesser The Fly look from U23D and was worried it was too much. I have a confession to make...the 'helicopter' shots are from slightly North East of Vegas (Giants Stadium) I just really loved those shots, and they filled a bit of a hole.

I'm more than happy to upload the complete show or send out some discs for people that want one. I do already have the Europe compilation DVD so I'll just say you owe me one

One last thing, if anyone has any footage of No Line on The Horizon and would be willing to let me use it, it would be very much appreciated, I have one source and it looks like it was filmed underwater.

  5. Looking good
  6. Thanks, I'll keep posting songs on youtube that I am almost satisfied with, i think there are a few transitions that need a little tweaking but if anyone has any ideas for any improvements I am happy to listen because I'm still learning how to use sony Vegas and I would rather fix anything now before making the final DVD, and then hopefully i'll be able to make a multicam for Melbourne when they come here
  7. I can't believe how hard it is to edit Streets

  8. The lyrics of Unknown Caller on the screen are even more amazing than the Let me in the sound thing, well done Streets looks pretty good too!
  9. I was pretty happy with how Unknown Caller ended up with the lyrics on it, it looks better than I thought it would on the TV, but now I'm off to see U23D again just to be reminded of how good things look when done by the professionals
  10. I need to re-edit the middle section because it's too shaky but here's a sample of Sunday Bloody Sunday
