1. Yeah its not the best show, but it's the best Mercy, and the best North Star for sure. Good to have such brilliant recordings of newer songs.

Really loved Mysterious Ways and Streets from this show. Listening now.

  2. quite a good show and a great example of the 360 Tour imo. There are no stand out performances there but they didnt make (especially the Edge) so many mistakes as they did on the other 'famous' shows (Helsinki 2, Zurich 2,..)...

  3. + 1, - 4 shows, though! grazie, thanks, merci!

North Star and Mercy are just as good as every other show it's been played on. Paris is still a great show yes, they're really on fire this leg!

    How have you been?

Arrived from Paris last night! The best trip of my life! The city is increadibly bealtiful and people there are amazing, in my opinion!

About the show, I was at the Gate X when the "security" removed the barriers. My message to Bono was destroyed in a few seconds by people trying to get into the gate. My father, my best mate and I waited 9 hours to get inside the SDF, but If I already knew that there wasn't a line, I'd be arriving there by 7 or 8 pm. A really mess!

Anyway, after this, I enjoyed the Interpol show and then I went very close to the catwalk. Really good place to be!

Stingray started and I got very excited! Really great song to start a gig in my opinion, but I think I Will Follow would be a better 2nd song, just after it.

Beautiful Day is always amazing, but I think it lost a little of its magic as a real opener.

I Will Follow started and people just discovered my nationality. Jumping and screaming during all the song, while some people were mad because they couldn't take pics or do their videos. Really loved to see IWF live for the first time

Boots was normal and Magnificent is such a great song! People really seems to love it! I saw lots of people jumping and singing the hole song with me. It's one of the best U2 songs in my opinion just because it creates such a nice atmosphere and good vibrations in the big and colourfull stage!

I miss the solo in Mysterious Ways, but it was nice to see it at the beggining of the show.

Until The End is just awesome, and Edge went playing just in front of me! Actually, it really looked like he was staring me while playing his beautiful guitar! Amazing thing!

Then, one of the highligts of the show as they started playing I Still Haven't Found. It's my second favorite song and I really love its energy. Lots of feelings came to my mind...My birthday, U2 and the good vibrations they were exhaling at that night, the hole trip to Paris...Then I got me crying with my arms in the air...I love the way they just let the crowd sing the first part of the song! It really looks like a manifestation of happiness and it's a kind of thing that make me feel bette. Lovely thing

North Star is just a beautiful song and then my dream (another one) became true. They played Mercy in this gig, just like I said here before as my "wish list". They're getting better and better with this song, even if I dislike the "because" thing. Great performance

In A Little While is nice because of the space station thing. As a pilot, I love this stuff, so I couldn't complain about it.

Miss Sarajevo gave me goosebumbs again (just like in Sao Paulo show), and the transition to CoBL is just awesome! I love those lights and questions, and then I was jumping again. I just stoped after Crazy Remix. I'm really looking foward to see this song beeing played here in SP. Our people will teach you how to jump and sing to this kind of song like no other audience can do

SBS was nice with the Get Up Stand Up thing because of the hole situation about the religion issues in France. Great feeling again

Walk On...Little boring to say the truth, but it's a good time to rest a little before Streets.

One is always great, and then my happy birthday song came brilliantly as always! No words to say about Streets. It's just my heart acting and singing through me.

Great and powerful Batman, nice lights in With Or Without You and a nice version of MoS to close the best birthday I could had.

I really enjoyed the hole show. The audinece, the band's performance, the energy and vibrations were just awesome! It really looked they were enjoying playing there, and I felt just great after my first 360 Tour expirience. Everything (during the show) was just perfect, and I couldn't ask for more

    Greetings from Brazil

    I'm so glad you've a good time ! I really mean that

A couple of things i'd like to react to
    - It seems like security and all were a real pain in the ass... That must'be been frustrating.
    - The people being angry because they couldn't take pics => Don't bother ! If you've had a great time while jumping and singing around that's all that matters. People should realise they go to a LIVE-show. So live it all up, don't act like a plant.
    - About Crazy Tonight : completely agreed. I always think it's a shame the crowd doesn't respond that great towards the song and wonder how it would be before a real energetic crowd. I bet the Brazilians indeed will show us
  6. Nice little last verse added in North Star as well. Nice.
  7. I finally got the chance to listen to the MLK recording....... OMG. Sounds perfect. I miss a bit of audience sound but I don't care, there are plenty of other recordings with more crowd participation.... This is just meant to enjoy the band sound. Sounds per-fect. Thanks a lot to the taper for this excellent job
  8. Someone already made a U2bed multicam...looks pretty good I guess, hopefully he/she will upload the full dvd soon:

  9. As posted on the Brussels topic - this gig formed part of an outstanding week of gigs. Had an amazing time and was proud to watch, again, a band at the top of their game.

This leg will certainly go down as a high point in the band's touring history. Fantastic

  10. Glad to hear you had a great time Aidan!! I also can't wait till the tour reaches Brazil and South America. If the band are still in this top of form with the South American crowds energy.....should be special indeed
