    This has attracted far too much discussion imo.
    Too much reading into comments that were honest and probably not really volunteered by Lillywhite. He was probably asked this questioned and felt that he had to answer it.
    For those who like the album, they can keep on liking it.
    For those who don't like the album, they can keep on disliking it.
    These comments don't change anything.

    I think people are just "getting upset" because a U2 producer admitted that the album didn't do what it set out to do. For some reason people can't accept that THAT'S all he's saying, instead they're thinkiing of it as "a person of U2 authority is saying NLOTH is crap! I think it's great!"

    They don't change the way I feel about the album...they change the way I feel about Lillywhite. But now that he is now backtracking, who knows what was really said...so I've lost interest in the subject altogether.
