    I only recently discovered her. At first I thought "Oh God, another young girl who thinks she can sing". And then she opens her mouth. (Her looks help too)

    Ok, It's a cover, but I was really surprised how much she sounds like Duffy.

    I think their version of Mercy sounded even better on Lowlands. Also to be found on youtube.

  4. There's an amazing band called The Riptide Movement that are sweeping across Dublin at the minute. They started off as buskers on one of the main streets in the city and are now playing decent sized gigs. Some really catchy rock tunes

    Seu Jorge is a great singer here. I love his style. It's a mix between pop and the Brazilian samba. Here's a nice and funny song that talks about rich girls and their habits.

  9. No, you haven't actually. Yeah, it's a great song. The thing is that I used to HATE Biffy so much. But after listening to Only Revolutions, I really liked them. You should listen to that album, it really is good.

  11. Bumping my own topic here (again ; I was never the cool kid at school), since there won't be any new U2 material soon, but there's other great music to be discovered

    Anyway, not to seem ignorant, I'll throw The Heavy into this topic. Words can't describe the love I have for these guys. I saw them live back in 2012 and they were so good. They're in the studio working on album number four too, so get into them now!
