    I must say that Beautiful Day was the song which made me a U2-fan in the first place. When I was 8 I saw this beautiful vid with a rockband at an airport and planes flying over them: I really loved it. I still do, but I like other songs better now
  3. It'll stay in my top 10. I think everyone usually has a few "hits" in their top 10, and then some songs that only the hardcore fans get into.

    Nothing wrong...it just lacks quality...no good melodies, no good riffs...it's an ok song, but I don't understand what is so good about it. By one minute into the song I get tired of the loop and of the guitar riff.

    It's not a fast-tempo rock song, but it has something special. There isn't a similar song live to be found...

    wow. i think the song is pure emotion, in fact I seldom listen to it without getting chills. The Boston version is so powerful with the segue into Streets. The album version is just raw passion. Great song, end of story lol

    Exactly. Granted, their is no real melody, and the lyrics are vague. But the emotion behind it makes it one of their best.
