1. Besides the obvious, what War Tour shows do you like most? I need to grab a few more War Tour shows and I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is. Thanks
  2. IMO, The US Festival. It was 4 days before Red Rocks and the band had something to prove. It was hot, dirty and just a complete mess. This is my number one best U2 show I have ever attended.

I would love to give a review of the sound, how the played, hell, all I remember is that they blew everyone off the stage. At the time wearing a U2 shirt to school could get you into trouble, what was this Sunday Bloody Sunday crap people would say, Adam Ant is much better, stuff like that KROQ in LA played them but everyone wrote them off. This was their LA gig that won them over to the mass. Yes, the lucky ones who saw them at the Santa Monica Civic knew what was up, most people only had heard SBS.

Anyways, you cant go wrong here. The US Festival was a great show

    Long live U2 Start!!!!
  3. I personally have a soft spot for 1983-02-26 Dundee, but it might have to do with my nickname... Otherwise, Edinbugrh 2-28 is a great show and bootleg, as well as 3-13 Brighton, 5-06 Boston (epic) and 6-27 New Haven.
  4. 05-05 Boston is great too, not a full show but 5-star sound. Edge's guitar on 11OCTT will blow your mind.

  6. Always up to listen to a stellar version of 11 O'Clock Tick Tock!
  7. 12.06.1982.A fantastic gig, great sound as well.A must have.A Celebration is even played.A few tunes from the forthcomming War LP are performed,NYD,SBS,Surrender. This show might not be considered by some,as a War Tour gig. But,this is an epic early show. And as I said, the SOUND is so good. This show,IMO, is a mandatory listen for the hardcore U2 fan.
P.S. Glasgow 03.24.83 is also great.A partial FM Broadcast, with a great standout version of Tomorrow !!!!!!!!
