  2. We're going to have a debate in class next Friday. We got our parties today. I was given Sverigedemokraterna, the extreme right wing party that's kinda racist.

    Should be fun at least

  3. Probably Photoshoped, but still.

I always thought unemployment was given out by the employers. It's given out through the state, but isn't it funded by the only the employers? If not, it should be. Two years is a bit lengthy, though. Six months at most.

  7. Herman Cain To Wall Street Protesters:

“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself…It is not a person’s fault if they succeeded, it is a person’s fault if they failed,”

  8. Hermain Cain is a complete ass=hole. He should be sacked. That would teach him to think before he talks such total utter bollocks!
I don't even know who he is (YET) but that statement makes me want to poke him in the eye! .

Why exactly? The point of his statement is that people need to start taking responsibility for their own actions/problems. For instance, is it the banks fault if someone cant pay their loan? Or should we blame the bank executives? I know a guy I work with who constantly complains about money. He complains about how hard it is to save any money or to buy his kids clothes. Then he buys PS3 and an LCD tv. Who's fault is it that he cant save money?

Bottom line, what Cain was saying is that if I cant manage money and I go broke, it's no ones fault but my own.

My thoughts exactly. America is an aspirational society.
