  1. Officially its a war crime to murder him (he was unarmed and no threat to his captures). But I guess war crimes are all thumbs up when you are at the 'good' side.

    Well, their orders wasn't to murder him, so it's only one person who's committed a crime in that case.

    I can really understand why someone who's had his life governed by him and probably had loads of friends killed by him would shoot him though. Only human.
  3. Then you can call crimes of passion also 'human'. It is murder and a war crime. But I dont think we will have a private plane landing at Rotterdam-The Hague airport anytime soon.

    Good evidence might be hard to find. I don't think one person killing another person is something for The Hague.

    The person who killed him acted on his own, the NTC's orders were to capture Gadaffi alive.

    Is there any solid evidence for who killed him?
  7. I am sure someone must have seen what happened. Plus they could match the slugs. But I doubt any of this will see a court. Was just pointing out the hypocrisy. here.

    From Gadaffi's view, he got what he wanted. To die as a martyr.


  9. The "humanness" is on an entirely different level here, not lust, but very understandable extreme hatred.
  10. Hardly something that would hold in a fair trial or not ? Am not defending Kadaffi, at all. But the guy who shot him the head is just like every other murderer we lock up. Kadaffi abused his power for decades, just to my point on that out in the open.

    I still think it was wrong to kill him if they had the option not to kill him though.
  12. Lots of murders have causes that offer some degree of 'justice'. Anyway, lets agree to disagree. Wont lose any sleep about it.
