1. Today it's general elections day here in Spain. Crisis is at its worst (we hope) over here, and the current socialdemocratic government is being sadly punished The right wing is about to laaaaargely win.

The news is all over the media here in Croatia. What do you think about the right wing that will take over the government?

Situation here is completely opposite. There will be elections in a couple of weeks and social-democrats will win for sure while half of the current (right-centered) government is already in jail, including ex prime minister and vice president. They were involved in some serious corruption.
  3. They are physically in jail? I didn't know that AT ALL... Oh well, then I'm happy for you and your country

The results are confirmed at the 98%: the Partido Popular has won massively all around Spain. It's a sad day, since current government has done GREAT things during the past 8 years and going out like this is unhonourable and it doesn't make justice at all Anyway, that's democracy

If Obama keeps up the way hes going, by this time next year anyone will be able to beat him.

  5. Interesting facts.
  6. Pat Robertson is an idiot, but I think your "facts" are debateable...

  7. Hardly. The Republican candidates are an utter joke.
  8. Is he? Remember that he is only slightly behind in the opinion polls and is the incumbent. The Republicans however:

Michelle Bachmann: "John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa [her home town]. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too." John Wayne (actor) was actually born over 100 miles away. John Wayne Gacy (serial killer) lived in Waterloo.

Herman Cain: Sexual harrassment charges hanging over him. He denies it of course but financial settlements have been made to some of the accusers...

Mitt Romney: suggests Obama should be hung.

Rick Perry: on a televised debate he says he would close three federal government departments however, he could only remember two of them. There was Education and Commerce. But try as he might, the forgot Energy...

And in the 08 election Obama thought there were 57 states.
