Aaron: A study was published that showed that viewers of Fox knew less about the world than those who don't watch any news. So either their reporting is shit, or the viewers are just stupid. And I like to think Americans are not that stupid. Actually those watching The Daily Show on Comedy Central knew more.

And Fox quoted The Onion as source... They fucking thought that The Onion were serious news.

Fox is probably the worst media in the world. Pure propaganda mixed with hatred, racism and stupidity.

Par for the course in many parts of the world, I'm afraid....

Lib news sources makes mistakes also. And there are other studys that show FNC viewers know more. Any study can be made to push any agenda.

Is FNC biased? Yes. Guess what, so is MSNBC, and CNN. It all comes down too the hypocrisy of Liberals. They have no issue with bias, as long as it suits them.

Wow, a liberal acusing an organization they don't agree with of being hateful racist, and stupid. Whats next? Nancy Pelosi trying to smile?
  5. One sunny day in January, 2013, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama." The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here." The old man said, "Okay," and walked away.... The following day the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama." The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here." The man thanked him and again just walked away. The third day the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama." The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I've told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?" The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it." The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir!"
  6. By the way things are going the Republican party will need a "do not resuscitate" sign after 2012.

  7. Just ignore how much libtard ass they kicked last year.

I do not take my news from them either, but they sure have a much better reputation.

I mostly take my news from SVT (Sveriges TeleVision (Sweden's Television)). Public Service is quite big here. So since they're state-owned, they're also supposed to be neutral when it comes to politics. Feels like a good deal to me.

Not sure that is the reason to assume a neutral point of view

Well, neutral in the Swedish political landscape.
  11. They are probably neutral because people in Sweden have access to multiple information sources, not because they are state owned

It is their task to be neutral and criticize everyone.

Maybe state-owned is the wrong word. Financed by the people, you don't have to pay if you don't have a TV.
