  3. The majority of the economy is privately ran bro. Not that i care who I work for. My only requirement, is I don't have to join a fuckin' union.
  4. Indeed it is. The government can also stimulate the private sector by hiring them to do different things for the state. Like expanding wind power for sustainable energy in the future. Your country will get big problems when we run out of oil.

  6. The govs job is to control borders, regulate commrece, control the miltary, and provide public safety measures. Everything else should be privately ran.

    I think it should also ensure that nobody has to die or live a horrible life because they lack money because they cannot get a job. I do not want that to happen in my country.

    It should also provide education for the young... Which builds a good work force that can later get jobs which helps the entire countriy's economy. And it should be there for the elderly when they have served the country and built the country people are living in.

    It should also make important long term investments in the country. Like infrastructure.

    Yeah... I don't think everyone can go to a private school. If teacher wages in public schools were as good as those in private schools (I am taking that they aren't for granted) I am sure they would be more even.

  10. Gotta agree with Olof there. So what if your bad decisions got you there? I don't think all the very rich people made all the right choices in life. Some of them might have even gotten there by cheating or illegal ways (take Madoff as an example). And what about the child of a poor family? What bad decision did he make?

    I agree with you that more has to be on the private sector's shoulder. But there have to be measures for when the private sector fucks up or is about to do so. Like the recent financial crisis. If there had been better regulations or if the people running the investment banks were less greedy, the whole thing could have been avoided.

    These are specially important when your country has such effect on the international scene. I am suffering today financially because your bankers made many mistakes in the last decade. I'm not an American and I don't depend on your government, but your private sector's mistakes are affecting me.
