  1. Intrestinly the high crime tends to be in the areas with the most restrictive gun laws. california, chicago, D.C., new york.

  3. I think it's often the big cities in the US that has stricter gun control? Because big cities are usually more left than the countryside. It's not strange that there's more criminality in big cities.

  7. Thats my tactic. Whenever you feel your country is fucked, politically, economically, or morally, look at Russia.

    If you want to compare your country to a country further to the left... a Nordic country would be a better option.
  9. Debt of Russia is much lower and growth was 4.5 % in 2011 Of course economically they are still behind, but much more 'healthy' at the moment.

    And if I look how the USA election take place (the amount of lobbyists (guns, tabacco, etc) and all the money being paid by them), I am not actually sure its more fair than the Russian version.

    The only country doing democracy well is Swiss imho.

    Well... cheating is worse than trying to convince people of something.
  11. I dont see much difference in selling your vote to the highest bidder to fill the campaign cash and cheating to be honest.
