1. And then don't try to improve you country? Doesn't really make sense Russia is fucked up though.

If you want to compare your country to a country further to the left... a Nordic country would be a better option.
  2. Debt of Russia is much lower and growth was 4.5 % in 2011 Of course economically they are still behind, but much more 'healthy' at the moment.

And if I look how the USA election take place (the amount of lobbyists (guns, tabacco, etc) and all the money being paid by them), I am not actually sure its more fair than the Russian version.

The only country doing democracy well is Swiss imho.

Well... cheating is worse than trying to convince people of something.
  4. I dont see much difference in selling your vote to the highest bidder to fill the campaign cash and cheating to be honest.
  5. In both cases you screw up the country.
  6. Well the majority of Americans are already pro gun, and consider smokeing a personal choice so those are bad choices, as far as lobbyist go.
  7. My main concerns are the corruption of the unions, and liberal indoctrination in school.
  8. Pro-Israelian lobby, the oil lobby, pharma lobby.
  9. The people voting still have the right to vote for who they want.

I do think the US system is flawed though. Especially the primaries where most power is essentially located to a few places.
  10. And thats not only the US, happens everywhere. If you have money, you can buy influence.

  11. Most Americans are pro-Israel to start with. We support oil since its cheap. As for the phrama lobby, they don't have as much power as you think.

I say the primarys should be in a random order each time.
