  8. Only a certain subcategory of conservatives. Seems more widespread among liberals. Personally I think it should be the one day we put politics aside, and just enjoy being Americans.

    Still not that widespread among liberals. I'd say maybe 15% tops.

    This year it seemed to come from the right more than the left, probably because of the recent signing of Obamacare.

    There's nothing wrong with being critical of your country, either. It makes it more interesting, from either side, too.

    Personally I think the 4th of July should be allowed political talk, but it's understood more as a "come on, it's Independence Day, some dudes fought so we could be independent and have representation, bruh".
