1. Still no reason to use violence. Only weak people fall back to violence.
  2. Still no excuse. Make a movie about Jesus like that and I doubt people in the west will attack ambassies.

  3. That's absolutely correct. But we all know how Muslims react to this kind of provocations, so why provoke?

Why wear miniskirts if it provokes some people to rape you?

Put the blame of the problems where the problems actually are, the (subset) of muslims which go completely nuts when something happens what they dont like.

Um. Nobody wears a skirt to get provoked and get raped. If you want to be raped then it's not rape.

On the other side, guy that filmed this wanted to provoke and he knew consequences. It's like putting hand in wasp nest.

Yeah, the problem is their reaction, but if you know what the reaction will be and you are 100% sure that it can't be changed, then you change something else that you CAN change.
  7. I agree provocation is unnecessary, but fact is the reaction is not justified. That is the problem with some of the cultures over there, they feel superior and can't handle anything like humans but act like beasts.
  8. And nobody forced those barbarians to use violence at all.
  9. I'd like to ask these people if their faith is so weak that they have to attack when someone does something against it. Making a movie just to make people angry is stupid too though, that someone would want to make something to get a reaction like this is disgusting. I'm guessing they were pretty well aware that the film could spark lethal violence.
  10. Hell with them all. They want to play with fire let them. Fucking with the U.S. genreally does not end well.

It's not really about the feeling of superiority. It's prejudice, radicalism and some misunderstood views based on messed up interpretations.
I do believe tho that this "movie" was only made to provoke, that's the only purpose of it and it was quite successful at that.

There are radicals every where and in every religion. There is more in these areas and it's not really because of the culture or the religion. I personally think it's got more to do with the history of these people and what they have been through.

There were attacks by terrorists calling themselves Muslims on America and this led to a lot of Islamophobia in the west. The same has happened to these people, years and years of suffering and tyranny caused by dictators mostly put in place, supported and aided by western governments has led to some kind of "west-o-phobia" or mistrust towards all things related to western countries. And this is what causes such harsh reactions.

Don't get me wrong tho, I do not and will never justify the kind of reaction this movie got, I'm just trying to help you guys understand. I believe the best reaction to this movie would have been either peaceful protests or simply governments in the area condemning it and maybe asking for its removal from youtube.
