  1. To be clear, I completely agree that that movie was made to provoke. As you said peaceful protests would be fine.

    And I do believe that factors you mentioned contributed to the west-o-phobia there.
  2. We had elections two days ago. (yes, in the middle with the glasses and blond hair, thats me)



    We (D66) won 2 seats, far-right and far-left (both anti-Europe) lost heavily or didn't win. We, the most pro-Europe and most progressive party won dispite the battle of liberals VVD and labour PvdA (two of our biggest concurrents), hopefully this is a forebode for the rest of Europe. And now forward.

    I really liked speech that Ahmadinejad gave in UN day before Netanyahu. That guy just wants to see the world burn.

    I didn't agree with all that Ahmadinejad said, but he really was sounding much more moderate than before, he also offered to have direct talks with the US and to stop enrichment if sanctions are lifted and our uranium for medical use is provided by the west...which sounds pretty good.

    Just because you disagree with someone does not mean he wants to see the world burn.
