1. Here we go with the whole America and "freedom". When I posted that video about Ohio and them supporting Romney, they all said that they've lost their freedom. What do you even mean? Is that a legitimate reason against Obama or is it just complete bullshit. I think the latter, to be honest.
  2. The bigger the gov, the smaller the individual.
  3. It doesn't matter whether Democrats and Republicans get voted in, people are still going to feel small that their voices aren't being heard because politics can be so god damn ignorant.
  4. Thats because no one wants to get involved. Start small. For instance, I encourage my friends to give blood. How better would the world be if everyone did this?
  5. How bout Obama fucking deployed troops out of being able to vote? Why don't you have an issue with that.

  6. This is true in some ways, but it's not true that the people of new york are more important than those of alaska. The electoral college system works on paper, but the result is what you see now, candidates visiting states that "matter", making promises to people whose vote "matters". This is not right.
Although I must say that this is not just limited to the US, many countries have this issue as well.
  7. It happens in the EU as well where Germany and France make policy. Could be worse though.
  8. The president is president for every American, not more for someone from Ohio and less for someone from Oklahoma. For the presidential election I think it should be the nationwide result that counts. For Congress it's perfectly logical to have more local elections, because you need different places represented and you can have it when you have a lot of people like you do in Congress. The president is one person that shall represent the entire country.

The electoral college exists for a reason, when it was started it was a logical system because it was a different time, now it's antiquated.

I'm sure it'd be more beneficial to everyone involved but this is a modern world that doesn't donate easily, but expects everyone to be a part of what it is. Hence the stupid 'inclusion-of-all-word' that I hate - that word being 'we'.

You speak with truth. That's basically what I meant, in a better explained way of course
  11. Embarrassing.
