1. America was indeed founded on liberalism. Thing is it was classical liberalism, which would be akin to modern day libertarianism.
  2. One thing I'm certainly not going to do is sit here and argue philosophy with you. There are elements of both libertarianism and liberalism in the founding of America (although I disagree with your second statement).

    America was based around small gov, and personal freedom.
