  3. I don't see how America fixes this. If they introduce more strict gun controls then they are only making things difficult for the people who are already doing things legally by the book.

    Nut jobs will still be nut jobs no matter what.

    I don't think Adam Lanza would've made a bomb either, and I don't think the thief would bomb your house.

    He got the weapons from his mother, doesn't seem like the guy who'd do tough work to get illegal stuff.

  9. Well, twenty-eight people have been killed because a madmen could get his hands on a gun. Now, your argument is that you want yourself protected against thieves. That means you think every year a few people should be sacrificed, so that you can protect your stuff.

    If this is about million dollar paintings, it might be a very tiny little bit easier to understand. But I cannot understand how stolen televisions can justify deaths of innocent people children.

    Moreover, there are other ways to protect yourself from a thief. You don't have to keep your door wide open and hide behind it with a gun nowadays.

    By the way, what does this have to do with liberals?

    I got news for you. When it comes down to me and my love ones, and some asshole that has ill will to us, the asshole is getting a 12 gauge in the face every time.

    On the very same day as the Newton tragedy, 22 children were stabbed at a school in China. Shootings in Oregon, and Texas were stopped by pistol packing civilians. You will here none of this from the media, since it does not fit there story-line.

    And if you think a gun, is my primary way to defend my home, you are very mistaken. It is a last ditch weapon.

    I'm happy to live in a state with a castle clause. Anyone dumb enough to enter my house without permission is free game.

    In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. >From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated
    In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
    China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated
    Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
    Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
    You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
    Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.
    Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!
    The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
    With guns, we are 'citizens'. Without them, we are 'subjects'.
