    You have not read the Bible because it does not say that, on the night of Jesus custody, one of the apostles use the sword of the detainers and took off his ear, and Jesus corrected him and said the verse I said before..
    As reguards having a gun, its just more risk of having one nowadays, because peoples mentality is not trustworthy especially with domestic violence and so forth.
    Supposing it was a 15 year old found breaking in for the first time over a peer group dare or out of desparate need because things at home are grim?
    Mercy should have its place, but not if he gets shot dead by a gun owner who thinks its some criminal breaking in for a drug fix etc
  2. That's nice. Thankfully my state has a castle clause, so anyone within my home without my legal permission is open game. I can shoot, stab, bludgeon, and burn them to my hearts content.

  4. Self defence should only be used if your life is really threatened, not if someone is pinching something with no intent to harm.
    I guess I can understand the logic of youth stupidity or abusive upbringing which lead to breaking and entering, youths are still growing and make mistakes, for these I have mercy as long as no life is invovled.
    If life is involved well I dont think understanding is in question but punnishment instead.

    FYI, I'd prefer a knife over a gun for about 70% of home defense situations.

  8. Moot point for me anyway, given my agnostic beliefs. If there is a god, I already know I'm going to hell, but I'm not going any earlier than I have to, and if there's a dead crackhead there to greet me, who tried to bash my skull in, all the better.

    for some money, to buy grog to put a laugh on your face because
    life is so grim, as no one has shown you any better.
    Guess you have to learn understanding and compassion, in a selfish meism world.
    Because if this generation dont do it, then the Red campaign have no hope either, for are not those also born in a bad family too? or unprivelidged?
    If you want to be understood, and need compassion when you need it
    how can you expect it if you dont give it or do it yourself,
    sorry but old school is much better.

    Hate to break it to you, but I'm like the poster boy for being underprivilaged, and having a bad upbrining. I have never stolen anything, and I have never commited violence on anyone outside of defense. Freewill. I will understand why a man does an illegal act, but I will never condone it, and if its against me, he better make his peace.
