I dont approve of the USA provoking using stealth bombers. But I guess the USA is ready to go to war once again. Let's be honest, if N-Korea is a threat to the USA so far away. Then I can see how N-Korea thinks the USA is a threat when they send planes to simulate dropping bombs on you.

Of course the regime in Korea should go, but I dont see how triggering a new war will help. The sad fact the USA doesnt seem to realize is that you cant free a country by war, the people need to free the country and that could LEAD to war.

The USA provoking? I'd say it's more like showing North Korea that they will bomb the shit out of them if they do anything, because North Korea kinda began threatening the US before they flew stealth bombers to North Korea. If it was a situation with any other countries and one talking shit like North Korea, you'd probably see it as completely unacceptable.
  2. The USA and South Korea have been practicing for years close to the border. Yes I see that as provocation. I think i was pretty clear that i think North Korea is crazy

But you dont have to provoke them.

I thought you were referring to the recent ramping up of the rhetoric.

I really don't see that as a provovation. Of course they do military drills. They're technically at war since the Korean War never really ended, there was only an armistice agreement (until recently when NK tore that up).

If I was I had a country with that situation with another country I'd have drills. Especially if their leaders were crazy. Oh, and North Korea do drills too.
  4. I don't get North Korea. I'm mean, it's completely bizarre, they're like some evil guys from cartoon. If they just TRY to do anything, USA and South Korea can erase them from the face of the Earth in just few hours.

  5. Bout the same as his father but more reasonable. I still think Rubio is the future of the GOP.
  6. That's not the thing in the world that we're the most certain about. Many say Hawaii and Guam could be within range.

    And South Korea definitely is.

A small southern American town makes the Second Amendment right of US citizens to bear arms an obligatory duty.

Welcome to Nelson, Georgia, a rural town about 50 miles (80 km) north of Atlanta that passed on Monday the ‘Family Protection Ordinance’, which requires the head of each household to own a gun and ammunition.
  8. ^ great
  9. I wish I was a gracious winner. I'm not though. Suck it. Hate to break it to you, but we already fought and won a war so Europeans could not tell us how to live. Perhaps you've heard of it? The American Revolution ring a bell? Yes I am being kind of a dick. No, I don't care. I don't tell you how your country's should handle their domestic policy, and frankly I could care less.

FYI, there are already a number of places in America with the same type of ordinance, as the one you posted of, and they have been around for years. In most cases the law had the desired effect.

More important issues right now anyway.

C'mon, the war wasn't against Europe... It was against Great Britain. You also got help from Spain, the Netherlands and France. The latter's help being seen as decisive.

This is the politics discussion thread, so we discuss politics. American and European mostly, because that's the culture most of us live in. You shouldn't come here if you don't want to discuss it, but I know you do.

You've also been involved in discussions about European policy. Remember when you said the Swedish governement is in the business of kidnapping kids? The conclusion was that the same thing is done in the US and that neither country is kidnapping kids.

I personally find American politics more exciting than Swedish politics and like discussing it a lot. I bore my friends with it sometimes. You can also never know, maybe I'll be voting in the USA some day. There sure are some places in America that sound tempting to live in.
  11. I think because this thread is Aaron's home, it is always about US politics, and it's boring. It's all that is discussed in this thread and Aaron doesn't care about politics in other countries - it has to be about USA. More interesting but overdone, in my opinion.
