  2. That's not the point I'm making. You revelled in Chavez's death yet you seem to think that there's something wrong in people doing the same in regard to Thatcher's death. Personally, I loathed her, but I don't think celebrating her death is in any way appropriate. I lived under her government and she was a destructive force and her mess is still being cleared up today - badly, I might add. I guess that just makes me some sort of libtard asshole.

  4. I'm not saying that they should - quite the opposite. Some of the things I've heard from friends, reports on the news of celebrations, etc, have left me feeling sick. Strong political inclination and ideology is one thing, celebrating the death of another human being is quite another and something of which you are guilty, Aaron. Two wrongs don't make a right.

It's hard for people to do that, Aaron, at least on this website, when you endlessly post inflammatory comments, especially about politics in countries other than your own, despite claiming to have no interest in politics outside the US. Thatcher was an extremely divisive woman and, as such, people's reactions to her are/were extreme. As I said, the cheering and popping of champagne corks has been nauseating, but there it is, revolting or not.
  8. Jonner, you're spot on - but I highly recommend you to quit. Aaron and his nonsense have no end. It's been too many years. No matter how many times -even in the same discussion- you prove him wrong - he won't give up and say you're right - EVER.
  9. Simple question: On average how many death threats do you receive due to your political beliefs? Maybe 1 or 2 in your whole life? 1 or 2 is a slow week for me.
