They did not have the same beliefs as other Muslims. Same way that you don't have the same beliefs as the extremist terrorists who have identified themselves with the right.
Having your beliefs vilified because of a few extremists people who say they have the same beliefs as you (but obviously they don't) is what you're experiencing and what happened to Muslims after 9/11...it doesn't have to be a hate crime, it's how Muslims or even non-Muslim middle-easterners are treated everywhere.

    Shut the fuck up.

People called Muslims, being villified for what other people called Muslims did, makes sense. Villifying the right for what Muslims did, is just the left-wing media doing what they do best.

Right wing terrorism is something the left-wing media makes up to push their agenda. They have been trying to attach just about every shooting/bombing/etc to it for years, and have mostely failed, then had to shut up sine in many of the cases the perps turned out to be radical leftist.

You want a valid comparison? This is more like the idiots who blamed the Jews for 9/11 than anything. Their blaming ain't gonna do anything at all, except kill their credibility. No one is going to start carrying out hate crimes against the right, nor treating them differnt in public (which is good since, there are more conservatives in this country, than liberals.) Most conservatives I know, just laugh, and tell the idiots to fuck off, but some day someone is gonna lose his shit, and honestly, with how the left acts in these situations, I will be rooting for the right-winger, when that happens.

This is the left purposely doing a misinformation campaign to draw attention away from the fact that, they have a psychopath problem. It lets them ignore union thugs calling for blood in the street, and the terror attempts of the radical left.

Bottom line, right-wing terrorism is not a big prob now, but if the left-wing media keeps it up they may make it one, and since this is a center right country, that is a very bad idea for the left.

  2. Captioning errors mean very little. In fact, I'd defend MSNBC if one of their local affiliates had the same thing happen.

I always thought it would be funny to keep a list of captioning errors, they pop up at the weirdest times.

Course you gotta point out a minor mistake a local Fox affiliate made, as if somehow that is equivelent to the left wing media trying to villify 40 % of the population.
  3. I find the libs who want a civil war hilarious. Just seems when the side who likes bongs goes to war with the side who likes guns, it ain't gonna turn out well for the side who likes bongs.
  4. Anything that happened to Muslims after 9/11 was due to ignorance of people, who could not differentiate between different Muslims. What the left-wing media is doing here, is just blaming a sect of the U.S. population, without any facts, to push their agenda.
  5. To be fair though, the right was involved in this. That's right, the majority of police officers, and firefighters are conservative. They get the privilage of cleaning up the mess after it happens. I'm sure when they sort through the body parts, they don't care who did it.

  6. Even though we all are quite used to your constant hijackings, off-topicness and going off on a tangent, and it's almost become a habit that you make this topic virtually unbreathable for most users, something needs to be done with your constant disrespect, rudeness and swearings towards other users.

This is designed to be a music website&forum but you write the 99% of your posts in this thread, mostly seeking/following confrontations between users.

I have told you PLENTY of times: I don't have anything against you or your opinions. Most of my friends are right-winged and I get along fine with them. But I DO HAVE something against all your faults described above. So, this is the last time I do this.

Please read carefully the House Rules, specially this ones:

-Whilst debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or aggressive posts.
-We expect mutual respect between all users. This means you won't ever post something whilst taking advantage of someone 's behaviour, possible physical or mental handicaps, race or gender.

So, I hereby warn you: if you ever insult another user or moderator in this thread, you're out of this website.
  7. I cannot promise that I will not insult anyone, only that I will not insult anyone unless they insult me first. I wont call anyone names or swear at them unprovoked, but if they insult me first, all bets are off. Yes I know its immature, but I'm not making a promise I cant keep.

In any case, I'm calming down now anyway.

Last week sucked in general. I worry to much about things I lack control over.

I will try to be more civil in here though.
  8. I'm fine with that, as long as you don't consider normal opinions (only different from yours) "insults" towards you or your beliefs - as you use(d) to do.
    Thanks anyway.
  9. As a general rule when debating, a primitive insult equals losing. It's pretty much saying "I've no intelligent arguments left". It's also just poor manners.
  10. It also comes with a bonus. If your opponent does it and you can avoid it, you really elevate yourself a bit.
  11. It's easy not to insult someone, you just don't do it. As for saying that you won't insult someone unless you're insulted first, me and Ali never insulted you first yet you brought out the curse words and the threats.

Please, more civility when discussing politics. I know it's a touchy topic with people's political beliefs potentially conflicting, but insults are not the way to go. As Olof pretty much said, it makes you look like the bad guy meaning you've essentially lost an argument as you can only resort to insults. No hard feelings, Aaron, please.
