1. It also comes with a bonus. If your opponent does it and you can avoid it, you really elevate yourself a bit.
  2. It's easy not to insult someone, you just don't do it. As for saying that you won't insult someone unless you're insulted first, me and Ali never insulted you first yet you brought out the curse words and the threats.

Please, more civility when discussing politics. I know it's a touchy topic with people's political beliefs potentially conflicting, but insults are not the way to go. As Olof pretty much said, it makes you look like the bad guy meaning you've essentially lost an argument as you can only resort to insults. No hard feelings, Aaron, please.
  3. I don't see how any part of my post was insulting towards you Aaron, but anyway...
I refer you to my second post: http://www.u2start.com/topic/by-post/526557/
I understand your issue with the comparison I'm making but my point is more about all such speculations in general. I'm not even arguing with you, I'm saying you have a point and that the same goes for Muslims being treated differently post 9/11.
I do however believe that those people that caused 9/11 are not to be considered Muslims even if they consider themselves so...but that's a different discussion mostly based on principles.

  4. Interesting...
  5. It has less to do with the fact he was from a foreign country and more to do with the fact, that a number of red flags where ignored.
  6. It makes you think about the actual usefulness of spending thousands of millions in intelligence services. Remember the 3/11 bombings in Madrid? A high number of red flags were ignored back then too. The result? 192 killed in my hometown. Same story with other attacks. It makes me angry and sad.

Well, I think we'd have many more terrorist attacks without those intelligence services. They stop quite a few too.
  8. Intel has to be right every time. The bad guys only have to be fright once.
