    And I don't see what's wrong with some of the points mentioned. Obama said that the US is no more a christian nation and that it is now a nation of different beliefs...which is true.
    Most of the other points show that the author...whoever that is...does not have a proper understanding of public diplomacy. The trips and speeches Obama has done to Europe and the Middle East are pubic diplomacy that have made you much safer than before - much more than the two wars ever made you safe.

    Please, all Obama has done, is show the world how weak we are. Obama ain't done a goddamn thing to make me safer.BTW, you ever consider maybe she did write the letter, and is just denying it now, so she don't lose her job? In any case, whoever wrote it has guts. If I ever meet them, I'll buy them a drink. It is not the author that which is important, but the message. America is not a Christian nation in the sense that we are not a theocracy, but Judeo-Christian values where very much involved in the writing of the Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights. You know Obama is a failure when Putin has started sounding more rational than him.

    The left wants Americans to be in danger, so they can blame the rights for acts of violence, accusations which always fail miserably.

    The left don't even deny the fact that they want people like me dead. They practically drool over the idea of the gov rounding us up, or killing us. They don't realize most the police and military are on our side.

    FYI, I consider threats to me credible, when they start rattling off my personal information.

  3. Seems you lack the understanding I mentioned as well. I'm the one living in this region, seeing and hearing what every day simple people think about the US. What Obama has done is making you safer by changing how people of the world see you. During Bush you were seen as crazy cowboys going around the world killing their families and relatives and blaming it on poor intelligence. Now you look like a powerful yet friendly nation. Plain and simple.

    And he didn't say that the declaration of independence or the bill of rights were not based on Judeo-Christian values. He said:

    "One of the great strengths of the United States, is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."


    Which you agreed with in your reply, and which that letter got totally wrong.

    And, to be honest, it takes no guts to write such a letter in the US. Try living in a dictator country before saying that.
    As I've said many times, I'm not supporting Obama, I'm just pointing out errors in judgement. I'd do the same if you posted something supporting Obama and bashing the right for the wrong reasons.

  4. I'd rather the U.S. is feared than loved. Actually I could care less what other nations think of my country in general, but if it comes down to one or another, its better to be feared. Far to much of our foreign policy is giving money to assholes that want to kill us. Evidently you don't know what the current climate here is, if you think people ain't afraid to speak up. You claim I can't understand cause I don't live in your region. That goes both ways. A political associate of mine was recently ran off the road for having an anti-Obama bumper sticker. He taped the whole thing. I will share it, when the police are done investigating, and you can see how "harmless" the American left truly is on their threats.
  5. It's not fear I'm talking about. It's hate. The radicals here won't be scared, they'll hate you. The weak will be scared and the radicals will use their fear to justify themselves and bring about more hatred, and that will mean more terrorists attacking you. Do the math and you'll see you should care the most what other nations think of you. It's not just you guys in this world you know.

    That's terrible what happened to your friend. I'm basing my understanding on what most Americans claim. The land of the free. The land of opportunity. Best place to live in.
    If your system is as broken as you say, it won't matter if the president is from the left or right, you're hopeless. If it isn't broken, then speak out, sue, use the bill of rights.
